Sandwell Council is hosting a huge careers event at Sandwell Council House in Oldbury on Tuesday 4 February.
The event, part of the Government’s National Apprenticeships Week (Monday 3 to Friday 7 February), will have a special focus on apprenticeships.
Councillor Danny Millard, cabinet member for skills and employment said: “I want as many people as possible to attend the event, find out about apprenticeships and meet our fantastic apprentices.
People think apprenticeships are just for young people, but they are for all ages and this event will showcase the many opportunities available with Sandwell Council and local businesses. Sign up now on the employment events webpage.”
Sandwell Council employs apprentices in wide range of careers, who are studying towards qualifications including business administration, hospitality, horticulture and much more.
Sandwell Council also supports local businesses to employee apprentices and find the right candidates.
